Linen Return Policy & Penalty for Non-Compliance
To maintain the quality of our service, all rented linens must be returned within 10 days of the agreed collection or return date. Failure to return the linens within this timeframe will result in a penalty fee.
Penalty Details
- A charge of 20% of the actual fee will accrue for every day beyond the 10-day grace period.
- If the linens are not returned after 30 days, you will be charged the full replacement cost of the items, which will be billed to the payment method on file.
Why this is important
- We provide high-quality linens to ensure a premium experience for all our clients. Delays in returning these items affect our ability to serve other clients efficiently.
- If you anticipate any delays in returning the linens, please contact us as soon as possible to avoid additional charges.
CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY
At Jhu Cleans, we understand that plans can change. However, to ensure fairness to both our clients and cleaners, we have implemented the following cancellation and rescheduling policy:
Cancellations:
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled service are free of charge.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service will incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the service cost
No Access Fee
- If a cleaner is unable to access the property at the scheduled time due to client error (e.g. no key or incorrect access code) for a period exceeding 30 minutes, a fee of 50% of the service cost will be charged.
Rescheduling:
🔅Rescheduling requests made more than 24 hours in advance are free.
🔅Rescheduling within 24 hours of the scheduled service will incur a fee of 25% of the service cost.
🔅Rescheduled appointments are subject to cleaner availability and may require adjustments to your preferred date/time.
By agreeing to our terms and conditions, you accept the fees outlined in this policy.
CONGESTION CHARGE, ULEZ AND PARKING FEE
- Congestion charge, ULEZ and parking fee will be added to your bill (if required).
- You have to pay The Congestion Charge which is £15 daily charge if you drive within the Congestion Charge zone 07:00-22:00, every day, except Christmas Day (25 December). The Congestion Charge will be back in operation from Boxing Day (26 December). Congestion charge map zone
- Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) costs £12.50 per vehicle and operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year, except Christmas Day (25 December), within the same area of central London as the Congestion Charge.
